In March 2018, over 100 starved, feral Appaloosas were seized from a farm in Wicomico County, Maryland. These horses were placed with rescue organizations throughout the Mid-Atlantic area. Last Chance Animal Rescue took in more than 40 of the horses.

We partnered with the Maryland Fund for Horses (MFFH), to help these beautiful, formerly malnourished, and neglected Appaloosas. They were nursed back to health at El Dorado Farm. We continue to provide vet care, gelding, dentistry, farrier work, socialization, and training.

Moving forward, we will continue to rescue although not 44 at a time!

Available horses are posted to our adoptable horse album on Facebook and Petfinder.
